Ordinance 651 - Electric Wiring & Heater Fees102cc a ORDINANCE N09 651 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 637, PASSED AND APPROVED SEPTEMBER 71 1954, PERTAINING TO THE FEES FOR PERMITS FOR ELECTRIC WIRING, BT ADDING FEES FOR ELECTRIC HEATERS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE I'T ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA: SECTION 1. That Section No. 747 0£ Ordinance No. 637, passed and approved September 7, 1956, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows; Sec. 747. Fees for permit. At the time when the application for a permit is made, the applicant shall pay the electrical inspector the following fees: WIRING OF LIGHTS AND SMALL APPLIANCES: First 10 lights, switch or convenience outlet $2.00 Additional outlets at 100 each For alternations and additions, same as new work, other than signs using gas tube system 2.00 Each neon or gas tube system, border, effect or other advertising structure, the fee for the first and not more than three transformers 2.00 POWER: Motors - 1 horse -power or less 2.00 More than 1 horse -power but less than 10 2.00 Ten horse -power or more 3.00 Generators: For each generator for light and power purposes, including switchboard and connections 5.00 For each electric range 2.00 For each electric water heater 2,00 For each fireplace heater 2.00 For electric heaters - 1st unit 2.00 additional units each .75 For each electric oil burner 2.00 For each electric commercial projecting machine 3.00 Provided that where range and water heater are - installed at same time, the fee shall be 2.50 Also provided that where electric range, water heater, electric stoker or oil burner are installed at same time, the fee shall be 2.50 No inspection fee to be charged on wire or repair work or alterations where the sum of labor and material does not exceed the total sum of $5.00; however permits must be obtained. SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. AN EMERGENCY IS DECLARED TO AND DOES EXIST. SECTION L. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval. PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA, THIS 19th day of July, 1956.
