AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THL PLOWING OR PLACING OF SNOW ON THE SIDEWALKS,
STREETS AND AVENUES OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, PROVIDING PENALTIES, AND
R1,J'EALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL 07 THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA-
Section 1. No person or persons, partnership, or corporation shall
place or cause to be placed, whether by plowing, pushing, or otherwise,
any snow on the public sidewalks, streets, or avenues of the City of
Kalispell, excepting only that snow on the sidewalks, where there are no
boulevards, may be placed upon the adjacent street or avenue; and providing
further, that nothing, herein shall prohibit the piling of snow on boulevards.
Section 2. Any violation hereof shall be punishable by a fine of not
exceeding $50.00.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Kalispell, Montana, this
1st day of March, 1954.
Approved by the Mayor of the City of Kalispell, Montana, this lst day
of March, 1954.
