A certain docu);x-,nt, three copies of which are on file in the
o`fi.ce of the cite cl^rk, designated as "Unifonu 13uildirig Code, 1967
J:dit9_on, Volumes 1, 2, anal 3", published and adopted by Tile Inter-
)1111ional Conference of Building officials, Pasaclena, California,
shall he the Buildinq Code for the city regulating the erection, con-
struction, enlargement, alteration, repair, moving, removal, demol-
iion, conversion, occupancy, equipment, use, height, area and main-
tenance of all buildings or structures in the city; providing for
issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and providing
penalties for the violation of any such Building Code; and provided
J-urther, that., in the event that any provision of the Ci_t., Code or
state law shall be in conflict with "Uniform Building Code", the
provisions of the City Code or the state law shall prevail.
SECTION 2. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
is effective immediately upon passage and adoption hereof..
SECTION 3. All ordinances of the City of Kalispell, or parts
thereof, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF T.HE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA AND
APPROVED BY THE MAYOR, this3 8d day of February, 1969.
