ORDINANCE NO. 767
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION I0-1, KALISPELL CITY CODE, TO PROVIDE
FOR TIfE ADOPTION OF THE 1965 "-)1.TIOI OF "FI?iS PREVENTION CODE"; TO
DECLA1?J: AN E111iRGEINC`L AND TO iz '=73 L CONFLICTING ORDINANCES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY-COLidCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
MONTArU%, AS FOLLOl9S :
SF.C'PTON 1. Section 10-1 of t_lvKalispell City Code is hereby
arm-idoi to provide as follows:
A certain document, three conies of whi.ch'are on file in the
office of the city clerk, de:signa!::ed as "Fire Prevention Code, 1965
:iditioa, as revised October, 1.966", nublished and recommended by
the American Insurance Association, shall be the Fire Prevention
Code of the city for the purpose of describing regulations governing
con+litions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion;
and provided further, that in the event that any such provision of
the Code of the Citv or state law shall be in conflict with such
"Fire Prevention Code", the provisions of the City Code or the
state law shall prevail.
SECTION 2. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
is effective immediately upon passage and adoption hereof.
SECTION 3. All ordinances of the City of Kalispell, or parts
thereof, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA AND
APPROVED BY THE MAYOR, this 3rd day of February, 1969.
