ORDINANCE NO. 764
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE 17-85 TO DEFINE "CONGESTED TRAFFIC
AREAS" FOR PARKING METER PURPOSES; AND TO DECLARE EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
MONTANA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Ordinance 17785 of the Kalispell City Code is hereby
amended to provide as follows:
The congested -traffic area, for parking meter purposes, is
hereby declared to be as follows:
1.
Main
Street
from
Idaho
Street
to Fifth
Street.
2.
First
Avenue
East
from
Center
Street to
Fifth Street.
3. First Avenue West from Center Street to Fourth Street.
4. Second Avenue West from Second Street to Third Street.
5. Center Street from First Avenue West to First Avenue East.
6. First Street from alley between First and Second Avenues
Westto, alley between First and Second Avenues East.
7. Second Street from Third.Avenue West to Second Avenue East.
8. Third Street from Second Avenue West to Second Avenue East.
9. Fourth Street from alley between First and Second Avenues
Zas, to First Avenue West.
10. Fifth Street from alley between Main and First Avenues
East to Main Street.
11. Any parking lot within the City owned and operated as such
or owned by any other person or corporation and operated as a parking
lot by the City under a lease or other agreement between the City and
such person or corporation.
SECTION 2. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance is
effective immediately upon passage and adoption hereof.
SECTION 3. All ordinances of the City of Kalispell, or parts
thereof, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

APPROVED BY THE MAYOR, this 7TH day of OCT10BER , 1968.
