QRDINANCE NO.763,
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 2-11 OF THE KALISPELL CITY CODE PRO-
VIDING FOR SICK LEAVE FOR REGULAR CITY EMPLOYEES; QUALIFICATIONS
GENERALLY, MONTHLY CREDIT THEREOF; ACCUMULATION THEREOF; SEASONAL
AND PART-TIME EMPLOYEES NOT ENTITLED THERETO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
MONTANA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTTJN 1. Section 2-11 of the Kalispell City Code is hereby amended
co ;,()vide as follows:
Every full-time city employee who is unable to perform his
or her duties by reason of illness, shall be entitled to one and
one-fourth working days of sick leave with pay for each full calen-
dar month of service, and any such sick leave accrued and unused in
any year shall be cumulative for succeeding years subject to the
following conditions provided for in this article.
No city employee shall be considered a full-time city employee
until after he has completed six months of continuous city employ-
ment. After a city employee has completed six months of continuous
city employment he shall be credited with seven and one-half (7 112)
days accumulated sick leave. Seasonal and part-time city employees
shall not be entitled to sick leave or any accumulation thereof.
SECTION 2. All ordinances of the City of Kalispell, or parts
thereof, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. An emergency is declared to exist and this Ordinance
is effective immediately upon passage and adoption hereof.

AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR, this day of. OCTOBER , 1968.
