Ordinance 736 - Provides Sick Leave for Fire Dept Members202 -� ORDINANCE NO. 736 ' AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-11 OF THE KALISPELL CITY CODE PROVIDING SICK LEAVE FOR MEMBERS OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. BE IR ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THD CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2-11 of the Kalispell City Code is hereby amended to read as follows: Effective July 1, 1967, every regular city employee who is unable to perform his or her duties by reason of illness, shall be entitled to one and one-fourth (14)) working days of sick leave with pay for each full calendar - month of service, and any such tick leave accrued and unused in any year shall be cumulative for succeeding years up to a maximum of ninety (90) work- ing days, subject to the following conditions provided for in this article. Full-time employees who have been in the employ of the city continuously from July 1, 1967, shall be credited with sick leave from such date; provided, however, that no employee shall be considered a full-time employee until after six months of employment. Full-time employees employed after July 1, 1967, shall be credited with seven and one-half (7''z) days of sick leave, accumula- tion upon completion of six months continuous employment. Seasonal and part-- time employees shall not be entitled to sick leave or an accumulation there- of. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
