ORDINANCE NO. 714
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17-90, PROVIDING FOR TWO HOUR PARKING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 17-90 of the Kalispell City Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
' Section 17-90. Overtime Parking Prohibited. It shall be
unlawful and a violation of the provisions of this article
for any person to cause, allow, permit or suffer any vehicle
registered in the name of, or operated by such person, to be
parked overtime or beyond the period of legal parking time
established for any parking meter zone as herein described.
It shall be unlawful and a vitiation of the provisions of this
article for any person to permit a vehicle to remain or be
placed in any parking space adjacent to any parking meter while
such meter is displaying a signal indicating that the vehicle
occupying such parking space has already been parked beyond the
period prescribed for such parking space.
No motor vehicle shall be parked continuously at any one place
for more than two hours between 9:00 o'clock A. M. and 6:00 P.M.
upon Main Street from Idaho Street to Fifth Street; on First Avenue
East from Center Street to Fifth Street; on First Avenue West from
Center Street to Fifth Street; on Second Avenue West from Second
Street to Fourth Street; on Center, First, Second, and Fourth
Streets from the alley between First and Second Avenues East to
Second Avenue West; and on Third Street from Second Avenue East
to the alley between Second Avenue West and Third Avenue West.
