STRMT AID ALLEY COMMITTEE
The Street and Alley Committee met in the Confe--ence room on the above
date. Those present were Chairman Palmer, Committee Members Nystul and
Saverud, DPW Ken Hammer, Mayor McDowell, Surveyor Zavodny, Construction
Inspector VanDyke and Fx. Newmann from the Thrift Store.
Tir. Newmann has requested permission to raise a sign for the Thrift
Store identical to the one presently located near Time Insurance. After
some discussion and upon viewing the proposed sign location by members of
the committee, Mr. Newmann was granted permission to raise the sign with
the following stipulations:
The sign is to be 4 x 8 feet wide, with 4 x 4's supporting it and is
to be 8 feet off the ground. It will be the same distance from the street
as the sign located at Time Insurance for the Thrift Store.
There being no further business before the committee, its members
adjourned at 4-15 P.M.
