December 7, 1989 4:00 P.M.
Present at the meeting were Councilmen Furlong, Nystul, Gunnerson,
Atkinson; Parks Director Mike Baker, City Attorney Glen Neier, Building
Official Craig Kerzman, Acting City Clerk -Treasurer Amy Robertson;
and Bud and Don Anderson (Anderson Masonry).
1. Bud Anderson Purchase Proposal
C. Atkinson moved the committee send this proposal to the staff (City
Surveyor, City Attorney, Building Official, Parks Director) to be
reported back to the Parks Committee at a later date with recommen-
dations, regarding the procedure necessary to proceed with the sale,
the change of zoning, and the dollar figure. C. Gunnerson seconded.
Motion passed unanimously.
2. Tractor Bids
C. Gunnerson moved to have a Budget Amendment drawn up to have
Capital Equipment increased and have a public hearing notice prepared
and approved by Council action, and to purchase the Kabota tractor
for $12,749.00 on a 2-year payment. C. Atkinson seconded. The
motion passed unanimously.
3. Computer Purchase
Tabled. The Committee will meet again in the next week or two to
make a decision.
4. Discussion of Highway 93
C. Nystul recommended the Parks Committee meet with the Shade Tree
Commission so that we have a generally unanimous view before going to
the Highway Department.
