The meeting was attended by Council persons Atkinson and Larson, and City
staff persons Ben VanDyke, Bill Allen, Attorney Neier and Chief Clark and
Clerk Robertson.
1) City Attorney is requesting an intern to be a special prosecutor
for the City due to the number of trials -Glen got called away on an
emergency - will come back to this later.
2) Bill Allen 6 month evaluation was complete. Pay increase requested by
Ben for Bill to move Bill to step 6, grade 11 or $22.812. His current
salary is step 1, grade 11 or 21.176. The committe will review it in
May with all of the non union salaries.
3) Parking - Chief Clark discussed the revenue situation regarding the
parking commission fund. Committee recommended that the Mayor direct
the City Attorney to renegotiate the leases reflecting a 50/50 split.
The committee recommended that the Mayor discuss the whole fee schedule
with the Parking Commission an report back by May 21st.
3) Computer Bids - since the bids were not opened on May 3rd we opened the bid
this morning. The only bid was from IBM for the RT system. Big Sky Data
Systems portion of the bid included an alternate printer, a Texas Instrument
printer which we will accept over the IBM Quickwriter printer. Commitee
recommended acceptance of the IBM bid.
• 4) Board of Investments - the Board of Investments rate for the computer
lease for FY 91 would be 7.5%. The rate is adjusted yearly. The Board
will finance all of the project on a five year lease. Included for
tonight is a Resolution of Intent to participate in the program.
