The meeting was attended by Councilmen Atkinson (Chairman), Saverud and Hopkins.
Also attending were Clerk/Treasurer Halver, Ben Van Dyke, Ross P1amJbeck and Craig
Kerzman.
1. Resolutions
Halver explained the Budget Transfer Resolution would acccnplish the year end
budget transfers to cover overdrafts in individual line items. There are also
resolutions to declare emergency budgets in the Health Insurance, General
Obligation Bond and Retiremient Funds.
The coumittee agreed to present these resolutions tonight and recommend passage.
2. 1989-90 Nan -Union Salaries
The committee agreed to present the recommendation of a 1.5% per employee raise,
retroactive to July 1, 1989 to the council tonight.
3. City Judge Salary
After some discussion the cccmittee decided to consider the City Judge's pay raise
in conjunction with the discussion of other non -union pay adjustment
considerations.
4. Motorola Antenna on Water Tower
Ben Van Dyke reported Motorola is requesting permission to place an antenna on the
Water Tower on Buffalo Hill. The purpose of the antenna is to link one of the
Games of the State Lottery System. They are asking for a 5 year lease at $75.00
40 per month.
Councilman Saverud moved to recamiend approval of this to the council tonight
subject to Van Dyke reviewing the lease again with the City Attorney for his
approval. Councilman Hopkins seconded and the motion carried.
5. Claims
Camuttee members Atkinson and Hopkins reviewed the claims.
