Finance and Administration May 14, 1986
The committee met at 4:00 P.M., with Chairman Palmer, members Ruiz and
Nystul, Clerk/Treasurer Halver, and later, Mayor Kennedy.
The committee discussed budget philosophy and procedures at length and
discussed how to develop efficiency in the city operation.
The committee decided to recommend the council ask for an initial 5% budget
reduction and have all departments provide a written report of their needs
and plans for implementation of this.
