That it is deemed necessary to create and th e r e is hereby crea'ued, a special improvement district, the boundaries of which are hereinafter set forth. Section 2. That the numter of LE -Lid Special Improve- ment District is hereby designated ag No. 154 Section 3. That the boundaries of said Special Improve- inent. District are hereby declared to 'Le as follows: 'Beginning at a pcinu ,,,here a line drawn through the center of the alley between Second Avenue Fast and Third Avenue 1�ast would intersect the south boundary of the right of way of the Great Northern Railway Co., and from thence extending, in a southerly direction through the center of said alley to a point where a line so drawn would intersect t�ie center line of Fif th Street and from thence running in an easterly direction through the center of Fifth Street to a point where a line so drawn would intersect the center brae drawn through toe alley between Third ,Avenue Fast and 4 running in a northerly direction through t?1e center of said alley to a point where a line so drawn would intersect the south ooundaay of the right of hay of the Great Northern Railway Company and frorl thence to the .place of beginning. Section 4. That the ehavacter of improvements to be made in said Special Improvement District is hereby declared to be as follows: For the purpose of constructing wooden curbs along the grass plats on Third Avenue East within the limi�b of said die - trict to rdplace the present wooden curbing. Section 5. That the approximate cost of constructing said improvement is $611.80. That the tipproximate cost of the engineer ink;, inspection and all other expenses incurred in creating and completing said improvement is $35.00. Section 6. That the entire cost and e,,:pense of said irnprovement shall be paid by the said improvement district and assessed against the property therein contained, 7,ach niece or narcel of land within said Improvement District to pay that proportion of the entire cost that its area bears to the entire district exclusive of ,streets, alleys and public places, Section 7. That said assessment shall be -paid for in five equal annual installwents and are hereby extended over a period of five years. Said assessment shall cori,3titute a fund to be known as Special Improvement District Fund No. 154. Section 8, That said improvements shall he paid for in Special Improvement District t,Tarrants issued against said district in tile, sum of, $100.00 each. Section 9. That on the 27th day Of April, 1914, at the Council Chamters in the City Hall of the City of Xalispell, Ylontana, at 7:30 o'clock p. m., the City Council will hear objections to the final and official adoption of this resolution, at which time any person or perso'ns who are owners or agents of owners of .),ny lot or parcel of land iFTithin said improvement district, who shall, within fifteen days after the first publication of the notice of the passage of this ­e:,,olution and intention, have delivered to the Clerk of the City Council, a protest in writing against the pro- posed work or against the extent or creation of the district to be assessed or both, shall have theright to appear at said meeting in person or by counsel and show cause, if any there be, why the improverrients herein mentioned should not be made. section 10. That the following notice of the adoption of thi.a resolution shall be published in the Daily Inter Lake, a daily newspaper published in the City of Kalispell, for a period of five days, to -wit: NOTICE IS H7UM;Y GIVEN, that on the 7th day of April, 1914, the City Council of the City of Kalispell, Montana, ,adopted a certain resolution of intention to create a special improvement district for the purpose of masking the following improvements in said district, namely: For the purpose of constructing wooden curbs along the grass plots on Third Avenue vast within the limits of said district to replace the present curbing. The estimated cost of which is the sun of $646.80 which cost is to be assessed am a special assessment against tree property embraced in said district. That the said reso- lution of intention is Yo. 544 and is on file in the, office of thp Clerk of the City of Kalispell, to which resolution for a description of the boundaries of said district, reference is hereby made. That the property to be effected by the creation of said Special Improvrment District and the assess- ments thereunder is deFcribed as follows, to -wit: Fast one half of Blocks 38, 43, 58, 63 and 78 and the 101est one half of Blocks 79_62, 59, 42 and 39 of the Original Townsille of the City of Kalispell, according to the official plat1hereof on file in the Office of the County Clery and Recorder of 11'laLhea,d County, 11ontana. That the City Council of the City of Kalispell will be in session on the 27th day of April, 1914, at 7:30 o'clock p. ,a. in the council Chambers in the City Hall in Kalispell, Mllontana, at which time and place, the said Council will hear objections to t1rie, final and official adoption of said resolu- tion arid at which time any person or persons who are owners or agent: of Owners of any lot or p.,,;ircel of land within said proposed district, who shall, within fifteen days after the first publication of this notice, have delivered to the City Clerk of the City of Kalispell, a protest in writing against the -proposed v,,ork or agains the exLcnt or creation of said " proposed improvement district, or both, shall have the right to appear at said meeting in person or ty counsel and show cause, if any there be, why the improvement proposed to be made, should riot be made, or why such improvement district should riot he created.
