Chairman Manning and member Springer in attendance. Also in
attendance were Mayor McDowell, City Attorney Neier, Clerk Halver,
Surveyor Zavodny , Nick Verma and Roger Hopkins
1. Colonial Villa. Will present to Council as resolution of intent to
annex. Mr. Neier suggested the Park Dedication Requirement be
addressed. Councilman Springer said to go ahead and recommend to
Council and the Public Hearings be scheduled for April 15 for
subdivision and annexation.
2. Mahugh. The Public hearing will be held on the 18th.
3. Two Nile Vista Apartments. Still has to go back to Planning Board.
Public Hearing at the Council Level tentatively scheduled for April 1.
4. South Main Plaza. Public hearing set for April 1.
5. City Owned Properties to be annexed. A group of six properties was
discussed and the committee agreed to recommend the Council annex
these properties.
6. Kalispell Motel. DPW Hammer recommended East Washington Street be
annexed for a length of 10 feet past the entrance to Colonial Villa.
The committee will recommend the City initiate annexation of that
portion of Washington Street and the Kalispell Motel Property.
7. Conveyance of Right of Way. Fred said the 20 foot easement from
Oftedahls should be followed up on. The committee recommended a
letter be sent requesting it be given.
8. Section 6.13B of the Zoning Ordinance. Chairman Manning explained
the section and recommended it be deleted. After further discussion
Councilman Springer agreed.
9. Non Conforming use. Mr. Neier and Mr Verma. are handling it.
10. Wholly surrounded lands. City Attorney Neier said he is working
on it.
