SPECIAL MEETING
. A Spacial Meeting of the City Council of the City of Kalispell was held
June 3, 19599 at 7:30 P. M., in accordance with the following notice given and
acknowledged:

There will be a special meeting of the City Council Wednesday,. June 3rd,
1959, at 7:30 P. M., for the following purposes:
OPEN CONSTRUCTION BIDS ON SEWAGE PLANT
CURB CUT FOR BUD BEGG
We, the undersigned, being all of the members of the City Council,
do hereby waive notice of the date and purpose of the Spacial Meeting of the
City Council to be held Wednesday, June 3, 1959, at 7230 P. M., and consent to
the transaction of any and all business to come before the Council as designated
above.

Following bids were received and opened for the Sewage Treatment Plant
Improvements:

E.'F. Matelich Construction Co., Kalispell 219,500.00
H. E. Schimeaels, Yardley, Wash. 1949006.64
Gyrion Construction Co., Kalispell 215,400.00
Kalispell Plumbing A Heating Co., Kalispell 189,735.78
Moved by Vick that the bids be referred to the Sewer and Water Cittee for
a report to the Council. Motion seconded by Horatman and carried.
Moved by Harman that the question of inspection on the Sewer Plant project be
referred to the Sewer and Water Committee. Motion seconded and carried.
Horstman of,the Sidewalk and Curb Committee reported Committee's reco naendation
to grant 70 foot curb cut to Bud Begg on his property at 2nd Ave. West and 3rd St.
It was then moved by Horstman that the Council grant a curb cut to Mr. Begg, extend-
ing 70 feet easterly along 3rd St. West from the Northwest corner of his property
(Lot 18 of Block 67) and that a stop sign be placed at the corner of 2nd Ave. West
and 3rd St, to stop southbound traffic on 2nd Ave. West. Motion seconded by Ryder
and carried.
Huggins moved for adjournment, seconded by Ryder and carried.
