SPECIAL MEETING
A special meeting of the Kalispell City Council was held at'7:00 P. M.
May 15, 1963 in accordance with the following notice given and acknowledged.
TO THE HONORABLE BOARD OF COUNCILMEN
CITY OF KALISPELL
Gentlemen:
There will be a special meeting of the City Council Wednesday,
. May'15% 1963, 7:00 P. M. for the following purposes:
Bids on Tractor Loader
Annexations
Transfer Parking Meter Account from
General to Street Fund.
WE, the undersigned being all of the members of the City Courici-1 do
hereby waive notice of -the date and purpose of the Special Meeting of"Ithe'
City Council to be held Wednesday, May 15, 1963 at 7.,00 P. M. and consent
to the transaction of the above and any other business that may properly
come before the Council.

Lenon, for Street and Alley Committee, reported committee favored
bid of Westmont Tractor Company for new Tractor Loader as per bid received
May 6, 1963. Lenon moved that bid of Westmont Tractor Company for Cater-
pillar Tractor Model'"955 @ netiprice of $14,73200 be accepted, being the
lowest bid meeting specifications. Seconded by Turner and carried.
Ordinance No. 700, an Ordinance fixing the dates for holding regular
amin ih`ly Council Meetings on the first and second Mondays of each month
was presented. Bjorneby moved passage of the Ordinance. =Seconded by
Turner. On roll call vote all Councilmen Voted for passag-_*
Moved by Smyser that the stand-by men in the Water Department be
discontinued from- this date. Seconded and carried.
Moved by Ellingson that the High School Cl"as& of 1938 be permitted to
hang their Class Banner on Main Street. Seconded and carried.
Moved by Roberts that effective with the fiscal year, beginning
July 1, 1-163, the Parking Meter Department operation be transf erred from
the General Fund to the Street Fund. Seconded by Bjorneby and carried.
Moved by Ellingson that City join with other property owners on
Airport Road in having the County black top the road @ .25, per front foot.
Seconded and carried.
The Council then adjourned.
Read and approved as read this 3rd day of June 1963.
