REGULAR MEETING
Regular meeting of the Kalispell City Council was held August 17, 1964
at 7:30 P. M.
Mayor Flynn presided. Councilmen Bjorneby, Ellingson, Homuth, Jerrow,
Lenon, Roberts, Smyser and Turner were present..
Minutes of the regular meeting of August loth were read.. Lenon moved
approval as read. Seconded and carried.
,Committee Reports:
B orneb , for Parks- Examined condition of Depots, Needs some maintenance
and repair, but not to maintain entire building during winter., Express Company
should provide their own heat.
Airport- Council members should look at highway frontage and,tracts on
Airport before selling or.trading for additional runway.
,.Ellingson moved that an Ordinance be prepared providing for aaetwo cents
per gallon gasoline tax on gasoline sold for airport use. Seconded and carried.
Bids for a new tractor -back hoe for Water Department were received from
Modern,,Equipment Company and Mountain Tractor Company. These were referred to
Sewer -Water Committee with power to aqt on motion of Smyser. -Seconded by
Lenon and carried.
N shbaugh Construction Company submitted a bid on the new addition to
Wat,(W-.Works Warehouse of $2,790.00. Ellingson, moved bid be accepted. Seconded
by Roberts and carried.
Bid on new 4ter well pump house by Matelich Construction Company of
$3,200.00 was eee Roberts moved bid be rejected and either re-advertize
orl,.negiotiate,for a new bid. Seconded and carried.
Jerrow moved Council adjourn. Seconded and carried.
