A Special Meeting of the Kalispell City Council was held August 5, 1964 at
7:30''P.. M. in accordance with the following notice given and acknowledged.
TO THE :HONORABLE BOARD OF COUNCILMEN
CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA
Gentlemen:
There will be a Special Meeting of the City.Council Wednesday, August,:5', 1964
at 7:30 P. M. for the following purpose:
Hearing on Preliminary Budget
Adopt Resolution of Intention to annex area
north.of Bakers South Side Addition
We, the undersigned, being all of the members of the City Council, do hereby
waive notice of the date and purpose of the Special Meeting of the City Council
to be held Wednesday, August 5, 1964 at 7:30 P. M., and consent to the 'transaction
of the above and any other business that may properly copse before the Council.

Mayor Flynn presided.
Councilmen Bjorneby, Ellingson, Jerrow, Lenon, Smyser and Turner were present.
Absent- Homuth and Roberts.
This was an open meeting to hear any taxpayer for or against the proposed
budget. Colin Wills and John Graham were present as the Council reviewed the
proposed budget with no changes.being_made from the preliminary.
Sid Mayer asked permission to close 2nd Avenue E. N. in.front of Buttrey
Foods during day time show on August 6th. Bjorneby moved request be granted.
Seconded by Lenon and carried.
Resolution'No. 2531, a revised resolution of intention to annex an area
north of Baker South Side Addition was presented. Smyser moved adoption, seconded
by Ellingson. On roll call vote taken all Councilmen voted for adoption.
Moved by Ellingson that the first regular meeting in September be held on
September 8th. Seconded by Turner and carried.
Smyser moved the Council adjourn. Seconded and carried.
Read and approved as read this 10th day of August 1964.
