Regdler meeting of the Kalispell City Council was held at 7:30 P. M.
July=.13,, 1-964.
Mayor Flynn presiding with Councilmen Bjorneby, Ellingson, Homuth, Jerrow,
Rbberts, Smyser and Turner present. Lenon was absent.
Minutes of the regular meeting of July 6th were read. Bjorneby moved
approval as read. Seconded and carried.
Roberts, Sidewalk and Boulevard Committee- Filed written report authorizing
curb cuts requested by Union Oil Company.
Bjorneby, Recreation Committee- Committee to meet Wednesday evening with
applicants for locations on the Airport.
LL Tu,rner, Sever,and Water Committee -Accepted low bid of Globe, Inc. for
Copper Tubing.
Hemuth moved adoption of resolution to be..presented.to Great Northern Railway
Company :to acknowledge the gift of Depot Park to the City. Seconded and carried.
Harry ,Fisher asked for permission, on behalf of Mr. Grandy to locate a trailer
house on his lot on-8th Avenue West between 1st. and 2nd Streets. No action taken
by Council.
Smyser.moved that -City enforcement officers be instructed.to enforce the
present "Trailer Ordinance". Seconded by Bjorneby. Homuth amended motion to
provide that a 90 days=notice be given trailer house owners to comply with
ordinance. Seconded by Smyser. Motion carried.,
Ordinance No. 707, changing effective date of liquor licenses from January
lst, to July lst. was presented and read. Ellingson moved adoption of the
Ordinance. Seconded by Smyser. Roll call vote was taken. All Councilmen voted
for. adoption.
Elingson:moved .adopt_ion of Resolution No. 2530, a resolution of intention
to annex an area north of Baker Addition. Seconded by Smyser. Roll call was
takenrV th all -Councilmen iroting for adoption.

for the fiscal_ year 1964-65.

Ellingson moved that a .06c per hour increase for hourly employees, and
$10.00 per month increase for monthly employees be granted. Motion seconded
by Lenora and carried.
Meeting continued to July 24th, at 7:30 P. M. for adoption of a"Preliminary
Budget".
