A Special Meeting of the Kalispell City Council was held June 21, 1967,
in accordance with the following notice given and acknowledged:
TO THE HONORABLE BOARD OF COUNCILMEN
CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA
Gentlemen:
There will be a Special Meeting of the City Council Wednesday, June 21,
1967, in the City Clerk's Office at 5:15 P.M. for the following purpose:
CONSIDER CONTRACT WITH ENGINEER FOR SWIMMING POOL
We, the undersigned, being all of the members of the City Council, do
hereby waive notice of the date and purpose of the Special Meeting of the
City Council to be held Wednesday, June 21, 1967, at 5:15 P.M., and consent
to the transaction of the above and any other business that may properly
come before the Council.

Nayor Bjorneby presided at the meeting. Councilman McCormick was absent.
All other councilmen were present.
Councilman Roche recommended the Council approve the expenditure of
$1,000.00 to hire a swimming pool engineer to study needs and prepare cost
estimates for the remodeling of the swimming pool. Councilman Riley ;roved
the Council authorize the expenditure of $1,000.00 to hire a swimming pool
engineer to study remodeling of the swimming pool. Seconded by Councilman
P:iron and carried.
Councilman Roche reco!.lmended the purchase of a new chlorinator for the
swimming pool. Councilman Roberts moved the Park Committee be authorized to
purchase a new chlorinator for the swimming pool. Seconded by Councilman
Yiron and carried.
Councilman Roche moved the City Clergy: be authorized to call for bids for
the purchase of 20 cords, more or less, of seasoned wood in 4-foot lengths,
to be delivered to the swimming pool as needed. Seconded by Councilman Miron
and carried.
Councilman Roche moved the Park Committee be authorized to purchase a
used cash register for use at the swimming pool. Seconded by Councilman
Happ and carried.
Councilman Riley moved the City Attorney be instructed to draft an ordi-
nance prohibiting truck traffic on 3rd and 4th Avenues East except for local
deliveries. Seconded by Councilman Happ and carried.
Councilman Roche moved the Water Department be authorized to purchase a
calculator and the purchase of a used adding machine by the Ambulance Depart-
ment. Seconded by Councilman Hensley and carried.
Councilman O'Brien moved for adjournment. Seconded by Councilman Hensley
and carried.
Read and approved as read this 5th day of July, 1967.
