A Special Meeting of the Kalispell City Council was held Nay 6, 1969,
at Orly's in accordance with the following notice given and acknowledged:

Gentlemen:
There will be a Special Meeting of the City Council at 12:00 o'clock noon
this date at Orly's for the following purpose:
TO CONSIDER: AWARDING S4II4IING POOL BID
We, the undersigned, being all of the members of the City Council, do hereby
waive notice of the date and purpose of the Special Meeting of the City
Council to be held on this date, May 6, 1969, at 12:00 o'clock noon, and
consent to the transaction of the above and any other business that may
properly come before the Council.

Mayor Bjorneby presided at the meeting. Councilman Hensley was absent.
All other councilmen were present.
Councilman Roche reported the committee recommended the bid for the
swimming pool renovation be awarded to Itatelich Construction Company as
follows:
Base Bid
Alternate V New Ladders
Alternate VI Sand Filter System
Total Bid Award
$104,400.00 To include Section A
325.00 Add
2,150.00 Deduct
$102,575.00
There was a brief discussion regarding the 10-day provision of the speci-
fications; approved equals submission of proposed alternates (page 10, Sec-
tion 5 of technical provision of specification).
Councilman Roche moved the contract be awarded to Natelich Construction
Company, as outlined by the En_,ineers' specifications including Section A.
The City Clerk is to notify the bidders in. writing. The bid award is to
be the base bid with the addition of Alternate 5 and with the deduction of.
Alternate 6, a total bid award of $102,575.00. Seconded by Councilman Rob-
erts. Councilman Turner voted no. All others voted aye. Motion carried.
Councilman Roche expressed appreciation to Council members for the
help they have given on the Swimming Pool Project.
The meeting was adjourned by "ayor Bjorneby.
