McCormick Norbert F. Donahue City Attorney Mr. Willis Whetstine of Morrison-Maierle reviewed and explained plans for secondary sewage treatment facilities. Various items were discussed, among them being: Projected Population Treatment Plant Flows Three alternate secondary treatment plans 1. Trickling Filter 2. Aerated Lagoons 3. Aerated Lagoon and Filtration The initial costs, operating costs and comparative effectiveness of each treatment process. Sludge Disposal Process Plant improvements on present treatment facilities Removal of phosphates The possible need for revising plans because of pending legis- lation (Senate Bill No. 19). There was a recommendation that action be delayed until it is deter- mined whether the bills being considered by the legislature are passed, and if passed, what effect it will have on Kalispell's plans for secon- dary sewage treatment facilities. It was agreed by Councilmen that no determination should be made at this time. The meeting was adjourned by Mayor Bjorneby.
