07/22/70 City Council MinutesSPECIAL MEETING A Special Meeting of the Kalispell City Council was held July 15, 1970 in the Executive Board Room at the Conrad National Bank at 9:00 A. M. Mayor Bjorneby presided. Department Heads appeared before the Council at various hours during the day to present their budget requests for the comming year. The meeting will be continued on July 22, 1970 at 7:30 P. M., for the adoption of the preliminary budget. REGULAR MEETING A Regular Meeting of the Kalispell City Council and a continuation of the budget meeting was held July 22, 1970 at 7:30 P. M. in the Council Chambers of City Hall. Mayor Bjorneby presided. All councilmen were present. Councilman Roberts reviewed for the council the contract requests of the Municipal Employees Union. Councilman Roberts moved the City not participate in Insurance Program. nd Miron. Carried. Mayor Bjorneby and Councilmen reviewed budget items and adopted the following as the preliminary budget: Airport Fund 4,439.00 City Attorney *3,467.00 *equal amount to City Clerk 4,149.00 Water Dept Budget City Council **15,545.00 **1,800.00 additional City Hall 8,910.00 to Water Dept Budget City Treasurer 8,753.00 Elections 1,500.00 Fire Dept 130,768.00 Inspector 2,707.00 Misc.
