Mayor Rapp briefly explained recently passed legislation changing the amount cities
may charge for alcoholic beverage licenses effective July 1, 1977 and further
explained that this would reestablish the amount that can be charged for these
licenses to what was the established charge prior to the 1973 legislative action.
ORDINANCE NO. 874 — Alcoholic Beverage Ordinance —
Councilman Granmo moved to enact Ordinance No. 874 establishing the City charge for
Alcoholic Beverage Licenses and Beer and Wine Licenses to the maximum permitted by
State Statute. Seconded by Councilman Williams.
Discussion concerned the loss of revenue to the cities by action of the 1973 legis—
lature. 1977 legislation would restore same.
Question called. Roll call vote. All voted aye.

ments. Seconded by Councilman Griffin.
