MAYOR BJORNEBY PRESIDED. COUNCILMEN SAMPSON AND MIRON ABSENT.
ELECTING WARD I COUNCILMAN REPLACEMENT
The following names were offered as Ward I councilman replacement:
Dale Collins
Dale Hearr
Robert Lapp
Henry Hewitt
Following a secret ballot, Councilman Sliter moved a unanimous ballot be cast
for Dale Haarr as Ward I councilman replacement. Seconded by Councilman Hopp.
Carried.
BUILDING ENCROACHMENT
Discussion was held concerning the encroachment of the New Vista Club on the
sidewalk.
Councilman Schwartz moved that the Contractor be ordered to remove that portion
of the building encroaching on City. Seconded by Councilman Daley. Carried.
POLICE JUDGE REPLACEMENT
Councilman Rapp moved that Paul Smith Willis, Peter A. Gaaach, and other
interested candidates appear before the Council for interview. Seconded by
Councilman Thomas. Carried.
MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
- Request for Temporary Approval for O'Dome Structure -
Councilman Schwartz moved that the request by Rudy Hoecker for temporary approval
for O'Dome Structure to be placed on lot south of Water Department building be
denied. Seconded by Councilman Knapp. Carried.
Request for "2 Hour" Parking Motors
Following discussion about removal of the '"24 Minute" parking meter near
the Northwest Artists Association Gallery, Councilman Hopp moved the request
by Rudy Hoecker for "2 hour" parking meter be denied. Seconded by Councilman
Schwartz. Carried.
There being no further business, meeting was adjourned.
