A7TrqT. cool 'Aryu-- es ! 70- 396 City Engineer McClintlok reviewed figures an Oil Sprinkling Fund, stating that If the assessment for last year was used, the fund would be approximately $27.906.00 short of anticipated expenkiturea. A raise from $2.00 to $2.50 par 1,000 square feet would mean about $26,838.00 more in revenue. RESOLUTION ND. 2902 Councilman Thorns moved adoption of Resolution No. 2902 A Resolution Estimating the Cost of Parking Maintenance and Sprinkling the Streets and Avenues with oil In Oil Sprinkling District and levying an Assessment for acme for the year 1973 at $2.30 per 1,000 square feet. Seconded by Councilman Sliter. Roll Call Vote. All voted aye. Resolution No. 2902 adopted. Mayor Bjorneby commented that he would like the present city council to make recommendations for the expenditure of revenue sharing funds. Councilman O'Brien reported he attended a stockholders• meeting of First Federal Savings S loan Association and inquired about sale of land to the parking commission. go said the association would be willing to discuss terms. Councilman O'Brien stated that he had the louse Agreement between the City of Kalispell and Kalispell Public Schools for the tennis court land and that it should be signed by Mayor Bjorosby"and mailed to Bureau o!, Recreation in Helena. Out000r City Engineer MaCllntiok suggested the remaining unpaid portion of the steal shop building be paid through revenue sharing fads to prevent city payment of Interest on a bank loan. Councilman Schwartz requested that in the very near future he would like the council to adopt a policy which would establish guide time concerning the 1/9 and 1/12 value of land annexed by the city for parks or park fund.
