In addition, I also received a letter from Whitefish (copy attached) with a possible discussion of allowing Cities to appoint board members without Commissioner approval. With a number of councilors out-of-town over the school spring break, I have not been able to determine probable attendance at the meeting. At this time, however, you may expect all seven council members to attend. They are: Mayor Mike Jenson Chet Hope Jan Metzmaker Gary Stephens Don Nelson Shirley Jacobson Mike Gwiazdon The only topic I have heard any member of the Council express an interested in exploring with the elected officials of the other jurisdictions pertains to the County Commissioners appointment of city representatives to various boards and whether the nominee forwarded by a city council should not be appointed without question by the Commissioners.
