RE: Kelsey Subdivision

The above mentioned project is a. major subdivision and was approved by the County Commissioners on
February 15, 2000 and extended for a year on September 19, 2002. 1t comprises approximately 18 acres
on the north side of East Reserve Drive, about a half -mile east of Highway 2.
The subdivision was approved with 33 lots. Five of the lots are within the boundary of the Evergreen
Sewer District and the approval was conditioned on those lots hooking up to the Evergreen system. The
remaining lots were to be on community collection and drainfield system until such time that firture sewer
becomes available to the entire site.
Extension of the sewer system from Kalispell has been determined to be financially unfeasible with this
small number of lots. It is requested that Kalispell provide sewer service to the Kelsey Subdivision using
the Evergreen Sewer District system.
Please contact our office if you need any clarification or have any questions.
Very Truly Yours,
