Dear Ends
I am sure that by now you have received a Letter from the Flathead County
Water and Sewer District O-Evergreen. Their letter referenced a Central
Valley Wastewater Treatment Facility feasibility study. I am hopeful that you
will participate to some degree in this study committee.
have, from the beginning ofmy tenure as a Commissioner, been hopeful that
there might be some opportunity for a regional concept working in tandem
with Katispefl for the future of waste water and sewer use. It makes good
common sense to be in partnership, especially as a Possible affluent distributor
for the KiseU plant, I believe I can speak on the Counties behalf that this
study may prove to be an excellentsource for the cif to dispose of their
affluent.
n 1990 the water and sewer district offered 600K to partner with Kalispell to
treat sewage, there was never a response given. In approx. 2001 Kall*spdl was
preparing t4 dry them- study to enlarge their sagacity, the Water and Sewer
District offered to be a part of the study and again, there was no response to
the District. I brim this to your attention only for the fact that i personally am
hopeful that Kalispdl will participate in the committee as well as be open to
the possibility of a regional joint effort where all of our citizens will benefit.
.dank you for. your consideration of this very personal note concerning this
er
c matter for this Flathead Valley.
Respectfully submitted, Gary A Mali
