BACKGROUND: On September 1, 2001 Mark was promoted to Sergeant of Patrol.
Mark has worked with the Northwest Drug Task Force and has set an excellent example
as an officer on the department. Though no council action is necessary for the promotion
we would like to give the council the opportunity to recognize officers that have achieved
promotional status.
RECOMMENDATIONS: The Council should recognize Sergeant Mulcahy for
obtaining the rank of sergeant under the consent agenda.
FISCAL EFFECTS: None.
ALTERNATIVES: As recommend by Council.
