Sergeant Promotion
MEETING DATE: May 21, 2001
BACKGROUND: On May 1, 2001 Roger Nasset was promoted to Sergeant of
Patrol. Roger has distinguished himself with his work on the Northwest Drug Task Force
over the past few years. Though no council action is necessary for the promotion we
would like to give the council the opportunity to recognize officers that have achieved
promotional status.
RECOMMENDATIONS: The Council should recognize Sergeant Nasset for
obtaining the rank of sergeant under the consent agenda.
FISCAL EFFECTS: None
ALTERNATIVES: As recommended by Council.
