BACKGROUND: Allan (Gus) Gustafson became a firefighter for Kalispell Fire Department
in September of 1971. After more than thirty years of exemplary service, Gus, who is now a Fire
Captain, is retiring, effective 12/31 /2001.
RECOMMENDATIONS: I am recommending that the Council recognize Captain Gustafson,
and congratulate him on his service and retirement.
