SUBJECT: Bid Out -Front Rotary Mower
MEETING DATE: August 20, 2001
BACK GROUND: The advertisement for a Rugged, Agile 10 '/2 foot Out -Front Rotary
Mower, was circulated. We received one (1) responsive bid from
Midland Implement Co., Inc., of Billings, MT.
The purchase of this unit will surplus and replace a subsequent older
72" unit. The bid unit has met or exceeded our specifications.
RECOMMENDATION: It is my recommendation to authorize the purchase of this
Rugged, Agile 10 '/2 foot Out -Front Rotary Mower from
Midland Implement Co., Inc., for the bid price of $32,121.00.
FISCAL EFFECTS: The budgeted amount for this unit was $32,600.00.
ALTERNATIVES: None at this time.
