SUBJECT: City County Health Mill levy - FY2002 Budget
MEETING DATE: August 6, 2001
BACKGROUND: The resolution is adopted annually to provide a levy to fund the
City's portion of the City -County Health Fund which is administered
by the County. The County is recommending a levy of 4.625, the
same levy as last year.
RECOMMENDATION: Adoption of Resolution 4645 setting the mill levy at 4.625 for the
City -County Health Department.
FISCAL EFFECTS: Levy will generate approximately $98,000 in tax revenue for the
Health Department..
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by Council.

A RESOLUTION MAKING THE ANNUAL TAX LEVY FOR THE CITY -COUNTY HEALTH
DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
2001-2002.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That there is hereby levied upon each and
every dollar of the taxable valuation of the City of
Kalispell, Montana, for the fiscal year 2001-2002, the
following levy:
CITY -COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT 4.625 MILLS
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND SIGNED BY THE MAYOR OF
THE CITY OF KALISPELL THIS 6TH DAY OF AUGUST, 2001.
