4. Proclamation - Credit Education WeekPROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, the Flathead Valley Credit Professionals of Kalispell, in cooperation with credit granters throughout the City,
are observing National Credit Education Week in the spirit of free enterprise in America; and
WHEREAS, National Credit Education Week is celebrated in conjunction with National Consumers Education Week; and
WI IERFAS, those in the credit industry are also celebrating National Credit Education Week with emphasis upon the theme,
"Take Charge of Your Life"; and
WHEREAS, these organizations also seek to promote the responsible extension of consumer credit through this observance
and it's theme, "Take Charge of Your Life'; and
VAIEREAS, Citizens of this community have benefied from, are benefitting from and will continue to benefit from the
gi anting of credit by our local organizations as a service which depends upon the prudent use of credit and the prompt discharge of
credit obligations.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, William E. Boharski, Mayor of the City of Kalispell, Montana, do hereby proclaim the week of
April 15-21, 2001 as:
CREDIT EDUCATION WEEK
and urge that all citizens join with me and the sponsoring groups in the promotion and activities of this worthy annual observance.
