Mr. Kukulski
Department
I respectfully request that Officer Myron Wilson be confirmed as a patrol officer for the
Kalispell Police Department. Officer Wilson has successfully completed his one-year
probationary period effective May 14, 2002.
Over the past year Officer Wilson has demonstrated all of the qualities we have come to
expect in our officers. He is competent, professional, hard working and compassionate. Myron
is constantly concerned for the needs of victims and his dedication and commitment are
exemplified in his practices.
A commendation Officer Wilson received from his sergeant in December is a great
example of the dedication Myron brings to his job. Officer Wilson was commended for
apprehending three suspects that had stolen items from and rifled through over 50 cars on the
east side of Kalispell. Myron tracked the suspects on foot through the snow from the far -east
side to the far west side of town. A few days later Officer Wilson repeated the same feat by
tracking down two suspects that had spray -painted graffiti on local businesses.
Myron recognizes that his badge is a symbol of public faith and he has shown that he
holds it as a public trust in his performance with our agency. Quite simply, Officer Wilson
makes us a better police department. He has strong morals and ethics and he is constantly
striving to improve himself and those around him. His peers recognize him for his
accomplishments and are proud to count him amongst our fellowship.
Thank you for your consideration in this matter and please know that it is my privilege to
give my highest recommendation to Officer Myron Wilson to be confirmed as patrol officer with
the Kalispell Police Department.
Respectfully su fled,
Frank G er
