He has been promoted to Lieutenant, filling the position vacated by the promotion of John Sturzen. Terry, as most of you know, recently represented the Kalispell Fire Department in a goodwill visit to the devastated Fire Department of New York. He has given numerous presentations on his visit throughout the Valley. Terry is also is our EMS supplies purchaser, a critical role for us and the community, as these supplies provide for all the responses of our four Advanced Life Support ambulances. Ali G - Telephone 406-758-7764 Fax 406-758-7758 BACKGROUND: John Sturzen was hired in 1984.as a firefighter for the Kalispell Fire Department. Since then, John has taken a very active role in fire prevention. He is a member of the Flathead Fire Investigation Team. For several years, John has been our expert in the national record keeping system. He just returned from two weeks at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg Maryland, where he studied the retrieval of fire response records. This information will now be available to us for developing our resources to fit the needs of the community.
