RECOMMENDATION: It is my recommendation to accept the low bids by
Miracle Recreation in the amount of $163,720.00 for
the water slide and $42,860.00 for the water
attraction (and installation). I am also recommending
that awarding of these bids coincides with the
awarding of the aquatic facility bid.
FISCAL EFFECTS: The mechanism for funding the project was the
selling of bonds approved by the City voters for the
project amount of $3,675,000.00. Based on the
consultant's assessment the construction budget is
$3,144,281.00.
Respectfully submitted,
