I respectfully request that Officer Carl Brisendine be confirmed as a patrol officer for the
Kalispell Police Department. Officer Brisendine has successfully completed his one year
probationary period effective October 7, 2004.
Officer Brisendine was most recently employed as a financial representative with First
Interstate Bank. He was also a volunteer with the Missoula Police Department and was
extensively involved in a number of other community service activities.
Carl has his bachelor degree from the University of California Davis with a major in
sociology and a minor in philosophy. Carl also completed a summer internship with the
Sacramento District Attorey's office in 1996. Carl shares his home in Kalispell with his wife
and their young son.
During my experience with Carl I have been extremely impressed with his compassion,
determination, professionalism, candor and character. I have had many compliments from
members of our community who have come in contact with Carl and have been extremely
impressed with his professional presentation.
Carl recognizes that his badge is a symbol of public faith and he is dedicated to ensuring
he reinforces that concept with the members of our department and our community. Officer
Brisendine is a tremendous team player and is always willing to help others and improve himself
and those around him.
It is with great pleasure that I give my highest recommendation to you on the
