The shortfall in the new Aquatics Facility Fund needs to be addressed with an operating transfer from the General fund in the amount of $65,000. This will eliminate the deficit cash balance in the Aquatics Fend and allow the pool to begin the new season in the black. RECOMMENDATION: Call for a public hearing for December 6, 2004 FISCAL IMPACT: S65,000 Transfer from the General Fund cash reserve. ALTERNATIVES: At Council's discretion. Amy H. Robertson Finance Director Report compiled: October 26, 2004 �0/z Frank Garner Interim City Manager RESOLUTION NO. 4946 A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA, AS SET FORTH IN THE 2004-2005 BUDGET ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL. WHEREAS, in the budget adopted by the City of Kalispell for the 2004-2005 fiscal year, certain detailed and itemized estimates of expenditures have proven inaccurate in the operation of said Funds for the 2004-2005 fiscal year. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS: SECTION L On the 6th day of December, 2004 at 7:00 P.M., in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 312 Ist Avenue East, Kalispell, Montana, the City Council of the City of Kalispell shall hold a Public Hearing on the following amendment to the 2004-2005 fiscal budget: 1. Increasing the appropriations and expenditures for the General Fund to provide an operating transfer to the Aquatic Facility Fund in the amount of $65,000 to fund the operations of the pool. SECTION II. That notice of the passage of this resolution shall be published pursuant to Section 7-1-4127, MCA.
