Dear Pam Kennedy:
RECEIVED

KALISPELL CITY CLERK
I would like to express my interest in a position on Kalispell's Street Tree Commission.
Given my desire to give back to the community as well as my educational background, I
believe I would be a strong contributor to Kalispell's current and future well-being.
Currently, I work as a senior financial analyst for Hewlett-Packard. I am responsible for
understanding and streamlining the warranty process for an Imaging and Printing
business unit within IV. Past responsibilities at HP include planning and reporting for all
income statement line items, new business development for the mobile printing market,
and partnership support for several key HP third -party developers.
I am a Montana native and graduated from Frenchtown High School. I received my B.A.
in accounting and finance at Carroll College (Helena, MT) and completed my graduate
work at Colorado State University (Fort Collins, CO). As I have lived in other cities and
states, I understand how special Kalispell and Montana are and would like the
opportunity to volunteer my time and skills to assure Kalispell remains a great place to
live.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me (257-3452).
Sincerely,
a, Wa /,, j

Re: Board Appointment to the Kalispell Street Tree Commission
Dear Honorable Mayor and Kalispell City Council Members
Please accept this letter as my expressed interest in serving on the Kalispell
Street Commission where I understand there is currently a vacancy. It is my
understanding that this board does not set any type of City policy that might
potentially conflict with my position as city planner for Kalispell, but merely
coordinates events within the community such as Arbor Day and the Trees to
Paper to Trees drive. If at any time I felt there would be a potential conflict or the
appearance of a conflict I would step down.
Thank you for your consideration and the opportunity to serve the community in a
volunteer capacity.
Sincerely,
