Resolution 689 - Resolution of Intent - Special Lighting District 32Resolution No. 689 RESOLUTION OF INTI!MTION TO CREATE SPI�CIAL IMPROVEMIENT LIGHTING DISTRICT No. 32. 132 IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISP-PML, MOETANA. Section 1. That it is tiie intention of trie City Council of the City of Kalispell, to create a special improvement li6hting district hereby designated as Special liaprovement Lighting District No. 32 for the purpose of lighting Third Avenue Fast of the City of Kalispell as follows, to -wit: From a point one hundred eighty three feet south of the southwest corner of lot seven of block twenty two, and the southeast corner of lot six block twenty two, to a point one hundred fifty feet north of the north line of California Street. Section 2. That the boundaries of such proposed Special Improvement Lighting District are as follows: Beginning at a point in the alley in block two hundred twenty four opposite the lot line between lots nine and ten, thence soutvierly paralleling Third Avenue East to a point one hundred ei�;iity three feet soutiierly from the center of the alley on the south line of block twenty three, thence easterly three hundred sixty six feet to a point one hundred eighty three feet sout,ierly from the center of the alley on the south line of block twenty two, thence northerly paralleling ttie eaet boundary of Third Avenue East to a point one hundred fifty feet northerly from the north line of California Street, thence westerly to the place of beginning. Section 3. That the general character of the improvements to be made in said proposed special improvement lighting district is as follows, to -wit; the procuring and erecting of posts, wires, lamps and otter suitable and necessary appliances, for the purpose of lighting those parts of the avenues, streets and public hijivays of the City of Kalisl)oll hereinbefore described. Section 4. That the approximate estimate of the cost of the improvements to be made is the sun of t8.7o, and an approx- imate estimate of the cost of maintaining the lights in the pro- posed district and supplying electrical current therefor for the first year id the sum of �a259.2o, and three fourths of the cost shall be assessed aainstl the property embraced within the district Section 5. That on the f3th day of January 1919 at the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Kalispell at seven thirty o'clock P. V. a regula-r meeting, the City Council will. hear and pass upon all protests that may be made against the making of the improverients or the creation of such district. Section 6. The City Clerk is hereby suthorized and direct- ed to give the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publication and mailing as required by law, such publication to be made in the Inter Lake, a daily newspaper published in the City of Kalispell.
