The purpose of this renewal process is to ensure municipalities comply with any outdated MM1A EPLI Endorsement Underwn'ting Criteria, which also reduces employment oyment liability claims. After extensive review of our personnel policies Handbook,, MM1A is requesting an amendment to Section 20-111, Employment In—Processing/Ofientation of newlyhired employees. WHEREAS,, it is in the best interests of the citizens of the City of Kalispell, and employees of the City of Kalispell, that all policies relating to persons working for the City of Kalispell e placed in a Personnel Policies Handbook, and WHEREAS, on May 2,1994, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 4150, adopting a Personnel Policies Handbook for all City employees, and WHEREAS', on June 19., 2000, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 4561, revising the Personnel Policies Handbook, and WHEREAS, on September 15, 2003, the City Council adopted Resolution No, 4832, revising the Personnel Policies Handbook, and WHEREAS, the Montana Municipal ns .ran e Authority is now re urnn ; an amendment to Section 2 I , Employment - Proe ssi g n. r en atio, -� n order to comply with the EPLI Endorsement Underwriting Crier'a.
