BACKGROUND: On February 22, 2005, a Town Hall Meeting on "Teen. Depression and
Suicide" was held in Kalispell. Over 500 people attended the forum that included presentations
from psychologists, counselors, and affected teens and family members. A group of volunteers
organized the event and their commitment to improving the health, safety, and welfare of our
community should be recognized by the Council.
