MONDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2005, IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT CITY HALL IN
KALISPELL, MONTANA. MAYOR PAMELA B. KENNEDY PRESIDED. COUNCIL
MEMBERS KART GABRIEL, BOB HAFFERMAN, RANDY KENYON, DUANE LARSON,
HANK OLSON AND JAYSON PETERS WERE PRESENT. COUNCIL MEMBERS JIM
ATKINSON AND BOB HERRON WERE ABSENT.
Also present: City .Manager Jaynes Patrick, City Attorney Charles Harball, City Clerk Theresa White,
Community Development Director Susan Moyer, Finance Director Amy Robertson, Fire Chief
Randy Brodehl, Police Chief Frank Garner, Parks Director Mike Baker, and Public Works Director
Jim Hansz.
Mayor Kennedy called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Kenyon moved approval of the Agenda. The motion was seconded.
There was no discussion.
The motion carried unanimously upon vote.
B. PUBLIC COMMENT

C. REPORTS/RECOMMENDATIONS AND SUBSEQUENT COUNCIL ACTION
C/I. RESOLUTION 4984 — AUTHORIZING HOME GRANT APPLICATION
The City Council is being asked to authorize the Community Development Department to submit a
HOME grant application in the amount of $324,500 to provide down payment and closing cost
assistance to a minimum of ten first-time homebuyers. A public hearing was held February 22nd.
Larson moved Resolution 4984, a resolution authorizing submission of a grant application to
the Montana Department of Commerce Home Investment Partnerships Program ("HOME").
The motion was seconded.
There was no discussion.
The motion carried unanimously upon roll call vote.
