SUBJECT: Awarding of Bid for the City Airport North End Surfacing Improvements
MEETING DATE: June 6, 2005
BACKGROUND: The City of Kalispell received and opened bids for the City Airport North
End Surfacing project on May 31 s` . The bids and funding for the project continue to be
evaluated by our engineer as well as bond counsel. It is premature to award the bid at this time
and staff would respectfully ask that Council delay the award of the bid until the June 201h
Council meeting.
FISCAL EFFECTS: None at this time.
RECOMMENDATION: That Council delay the award of the bid until the June 201h Council
meeting.
