RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATEs SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT LIGhTING

section Is That it is the Intention of the City Council
of the City of Kalispell to create a special improvement lightine.
district hereby designated as Special Improvement Lighting District
No. 19, for the purpose of lighting Eighty Avenue West of the City
of Kalispell as follows$ to-vwit: Fro -a a point opposite lot line
between lots in and ten of block fifteen to a point opposite lot
line between lots nine and ten to one hundred fifty seven, and
three and four of block one.
Section 2. That the b.oundries of said proposed Spcial Im-
provement District are as follows: Be&inninE at the center of
block fifteen of the High School Addition, thence northerly paral-
leling the east line of Eit;hth kv-enue West to the center of block
one hundred fifty seven, thence westerly aton the lot line and
the lot line produced to the west boundary of the City, thence
south along the west line of the City to its intersection with the
center of tYie alley between blocks four and ,one hundred sixty three,
thence southerly paralleling the west line of EgiAth Avenue West
to a point zifxhXgtxzixXx intersecting the lot line of Iz nine
and. ten, block ' fifteen, produced, thence easterly to the place of
beginning.
Section 36 That the general character of the improvements
to be made in said proposed special improvement lighting dietrict
is as follows to -wit,, the procuring and erecting of poste, wires
lamps and other suitable and necessary appliances for the propose
of lightina those parts of the avenues, streets and public highways
of the City of Kalispell hereinbefore described.
Section 4. That the approximate of the cost of the im-
Provernents to be made is trie *um of 414.5o, and an approximate of
the cost of maintaining the lights in the proposed district and
supplying electrical current therefor for the first year is the
Dum of $462,oc, and three fourths of the cort all -be azzessede
against the property embraced within the district abutting such
Eighth Avenue West.
Section 5. That on the 6th day of January 1.919, at the
Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Kalispell at seven
thirty o'clock Pe Mo a regular meeting, the City Council 'Will
hear and pass upon all protests that may be made against the making
of such improvements or the creation of such district.
Section 6. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to Give tree, propr notice of the pa-qsa6e of tkiis resolution by pub-
11cation and mailing as required. by law, such publication to be
made in the Inter Lake, a daily newspaper published in the City of
Kalispell*
