This event will be held on Thursdays throughout the summer from 5-8 pm (the second event will be on Wednesday July 3). The application was submitted following the June 3rd meeting. With the new amendment for server training, the item is on the agenda for final approval with the opportunity to discuss that respective item, though we anticipate the ordinance moving forward and are bringing this application forward to allow the parties to begin preparation for the event, should Council approve the application. The Kalispell Downtown Association is currently working on arrangements for the server training. RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that Council approve the application for Thursday!Fest for a special event permit which involves the consumption, possession, or sale of alcohol on Thursday from 6/27/13 to 8/29/13 (and one Wednesday on 7/3/13).
