Re: Southfield Park Development Agreement
Dear Mr. Dasen:
Section 5.5 of the Development Agreement between Richard A. Dasen and
the City of Kalispell for the development of the Haven Field property
contemplates ad valorem tax revenue generated by the "Project" at
$124,000.00 per year after January 1, 1999. The Development Agreement
further provides that in the event the Project does not generate
$124,000 per year the Developer will pay to the City the difference
between the tax generated and the contemplated amount. The City
Finance Department, pursuant to said Section, has determined that the
Southfield Park properties collectively generated $25,745.41. (Copy
of Finance Memo attached). Therefore, the balance due to the City
under the Development Agreement totals $98,254.59 for the 1999
calendar year.
At your earliest convenience, please remit to the City of Kalispell
the sum of $98, 254 . 59, pursuant to Section 5.5 of said Development
Agreement.
Thank you for your attention in this matter.
Sincerely,
C"
